What do I get when I hire my doula?
Eugene, Oregon is a great place for birth and there are some great doulas working in our area! Most doulas in Eugene, Oregon offer similar services, but there are differences in how those services are delivered! The first step to getting a doula is setting up a time to meet face-to-face for a free, one-hour consultation.
When interviewing potential doulas, one of the most important considerations is your own instinct. Are you comfortable with this person? Will you feel comfortable sharing the intimate experience of childbirth with them? You will want to learn about their skills and experience and decide if you share philosophy, core beliefs, trust, and comfort. Be sure to address any of your specific needs or concerns.
After meeting with your Avocado Doula and understand the value they bring to your birth experience, you will choose the package that best suits your needs. Once the contract is signed and the initial payment is received, you will have your doula on board and at your service!
